St Mungo's

Donating your items to St Mungo's is wonderful way you can help people affected by homelessness. Linen and soft furnishings, including all curtains, blinds and bedding, can only be accepted, will need to be flame retardant and meet the BS5687 standard. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to collect and store items.

If you have any items that they accept from the list above, please contact their Supporter Care team at supportercare@mungos.org or 020 8600 3000, and they will put you in touch with a suitable service to enable you to send your items to the correct place.

The National Animal Welfare Trust

Many of your old and unwanted items can be donated to The National Animal Welfare Trust, and provides a wonderful gift for a homeless animal. Every year, to look after the animals in their care, each of their centres go through hundreds of blankets, towels and bed sheets.

Blankets, towels, bed sheets, newspapers, pet food and treats & animal toys all in good condition can be donated to their centres.

All you need to do is collect the items together in a bag and drop them off at your local centre. Each NAWT branch has bins outside labelled with what donation you should put in which. Find your local centre here.
